Education, business, school administration, small learning communities Christel Kaufman considers herself a generalist when it comes to education and business. She has earned multiple degrees prior to her position with NAF, her experiences included school administration, district administration, teaching, lead on Small Learning Communities (SLC) in human services, State and County government; implementation of legislation, Director of non- profit preschools, including all aspects of the business, preschool education, early intervention, counseling and parenting education. Most of her experiences provided her with a deeper understanding of “at-risk” populations from birth thru teens. Additionally, she has served in leadership roles for the last 18 years .
