Dr. Daniel A. Wallace is the Northeast Partnership Development Manager for the National Academy Foundation. Dan was also a Fellow, Teaching Dialogues Program, and a Graduate School Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Education. Daniel A. Wallace was an Organizational Facilitator for Single Sites with CSOS/Talent Development High Schools, Johns Hopkins University; 2001-2004. While at Talent Development Dan was involved with whole school reform with wall-to-wall career academies on the site level and as a researcher. Before coming to Johns Hopkins University he was the Special Assistant to the Vice President of programs for the Close Up Foundation. Dr. Wallace was involved with curriculum planning, program development, program administration, instruction, and teacher training. Dr. Wallace has implemented civic-education programs for retirees, students in grades 6-12 and service-learning educators. His workshop on critical reflection has in the past helped hundreds of teachers improve their delivery of service-learning projects. Dr. Wallace earned a Masters of Education and Doctorate of Education from Teachers College at Columbia University, NYC. He also was educated at City College of New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.
