Miami Beach Senior High takes home the gold

Miami Beach Senior High’s Academy of Hospitality and Tourism competed in the Hospitality and Tourism Management Program Competition in Orlando taking home 1st place in two categories and winning 1st place overall. Students Serena Beze, Robert Berryman, Jennifer Leon and Juliane Alvarado worked with their lead teacher, Patricia Gregory.

“I was so happy to see them excel and take home the cup,” said Gregory.

Along with taking home the traveling trophy and winning medals, the students also received $1,000 scholarships to Johnson & Wales University. Miami Beach Senior High has won 8 times out of the 11 years the competition has been in place.
