Assistant Director, NAFTrack Integration
A nerd in high school, I thought my life was over when I didn’t get the financial aid I expected from the colleges I dreamt of. Instead, I ended up at the fantastic Humboldt State University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in English, minor in studio art. After getting my credential at San Francisco State, I taught English in San Francisco as part of an Academy of Information Technology. I then left the classroom to become a consultant specializing in educational technology and project-based learning. After a few years, I went to the Harvard Graduate School of Education to earn my Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation and Education. Don’t let anyone tell you that public school kids can’t end up at an Ivy League! Since then, I’ve worked in museums and arts non-profits designing and managing education programs. Now I’m back at NAF and excited to have come full circle.
