In the United States, 1 in 5 students don’t graduate from high school.
Lack of access to opportunities that support economic mobility continue to leave students behind.
Meanwhile, businesses are struggling to fill open positions with skilled talent. In fact, over 75% of companies report that a significant skills gap is impacting their businesses. The skills gap remains one of the top drivers of unemployment as schools struggle to keep pace with changing needs of the labor market. NAF is working to level the playing field.
At the heart of NAF’s work is the data we use to increase success for students. Since 1980, over half a million students have benefited from the NAF Approach. Today, we support 113,000 students in 619 academies across 34 states and territories. *This data is self-reported by NAF students and academies.
ICF International found that with full-program participation, at-risk NAF students had a 10% higher graduation rate than non-NAF students.
