RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Tech giant Lenovo donated laptops and tablets to students at Southeast Raleigh Magnet School.

The computers and devices were donated through and app challenge program. Students will be able to use the new gear to learn coding, testing and developing mobile apps.

“Since we have a wide variety of courses dealing with civil engineering, aerospace, and digital electronic, it’s going to help them decide which area of engineering they want to go into,” said John Geraghty, teacher at Southeast Raleigh Magnet School.

The Raleigh school was just one of 30 schools across the nation selected to take part in the program.
