MILWAUKEE – A student-designed mobile phone bowling game – as well as a mobile app that gives prospective students a virtual tour of MPS’ Washington High School of Information Technology – will be on display Wednesday at Washington’s spring iFair, hosted by Harley-Davidson.

The iFair will give more than 500 Milwaukee Public Schools middle and high school students the opportunity to get a hands-on look at coursework and careers in the high-demand fields of information technology and engineering. The event features interactive booths and workshops tied to the fields.

Coursework options for students include the mobile app development programs at Washington High School of IT, which benefit from Lenovo Scholar Network and Verizon Innovate Learning grants the school won.
