With a 99% senior graduation rate, NAF’s 619 academies nationwide prepare high school students to be college, career, and future ready through career-connected learning.

Our Academies

NAF Academies are small, learning communities within high schools or school districts. Our academies offer career pathways or programs of study that align with the workforce needs within their community. Students enroll in a pathway and engage in career-focused curricula and hands-on learning experiences, backed by the NAF approach.

Find an academy near you and contact the school to join! The only requirement to join a NAF academy is a desire to do so. Our academies offer enticing career pathways that focus on growing industries and the workforce needs of their communities, small classroom sizes, and student-centered design. Students can apply in middle school or at any point in their high school journey!

Schools can apply to start an academy through our Fast Track or Year of Planning program. Academy benefits include access to exclusive work-based learning opportunities with our supporters and partners, on-demand lesson plans, curricula, data-driven planning support, advisory board development, and professional development for educators.
