Manager, Creative

About the Role

Join the Marketing and Communications team at NAF, a mission driven organization where we are working together to prepare the next generation of innovative leaders. The Manager, Creative, will be responsible for creating all graphic design and video projects to expand NAF’s brand consistency efforts and, in turn, lead to a stronger connection and elevated recognition of the NAF brand.

The core of this role will be graphic design development and video production. Additionally, the Manager, Creative will develop and manage co-branding policies, maintain NAF’s style guide, develop marketing collateral and create customizable branded templates for NAF staff and members of the network. The Manager, Creative will educate staff and the NAF network on implementing the NAF brand and provide recommendations regarding strategic direction for brand implementation.

This role requires strong project management, collaboration, interpersonal communications skills and have the ability to manage (and meet) competing deadlines. Key responsibilities include collaborating with leaders at NAF to ensure alignment, managing our photo/video media library and producing short videos highlighting NAF partnerships and events. The Manager, Creative will also manage photoshoots and filming, including hiring and managing contractors and vendors.

This position will report to the AVP, Marketing & Communications. This is a fully remote role, with travel expected approximately 2-3 times per year.

Preferred Education/Training

Associate/Bachelor’s/Certification degree in Graphic Design, Video Production, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Commitment to the NAF mission, vision, and core values.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proficient in design, video and creative software including Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Photoshelter.
  • Ability to tell engaging stories through the content development and technical production of videos.
  • Stellar communication, presentation, problem-solving and time and project-management skills.
  • Team player, with ability to work with all levels of staff and external partners. Skilled in bringing different perspectives together to develop strategies that best support the enterprise as a whole.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and communicate delays, handle pressure and prioritize needs.
  • Exceptional writing and copyediting skills.
  • Proactive, takes initiative.
  • Ability to learn new skills and absorb information quickly.
  • Experience working with mass email platforms a plus.
