In Total, More Than 255 NAF Academies Earn Model Level for Delivering High-Quality Educational Experiences for High School Students
(April 24, 2025 – New York, NY) – 209 academies in the NAF network have reached Katherine Blasik Distinguished level, and in total, more than 255 have reached Model level on NAF’s annual assessment – delivering high-quality educational experiences for high school students across the nation. NAF’s annual assessment measures an academy’s strengths and challenges in implementing NAF’s results-driven design, that prepares students for success in college and careers.
209 academies in the NAF network have reached Katherine Blasik Distinguished level, with 177 of these academies having reached this level more than once and 32 being new to the roster. Site visits, hosted virtually this year, were conducted to verify academy scores for those new to Katherine Blasik Distinguished.

NAF’s annual assessment helps academies assess their progress and increase their alignment to NAF’s criteria, reflecting national standards developed by researchers and members from similar career and pathway organizations.

During the 2024-25 school year, over 112,000 students attended over 600 NAF academies across 34 states and territories.
