SAP NEWSBYTE — SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that high school education nonprofit NAF has selected SAP® SuccessFactors® solutions for human capital management (HCM) to help improve the functionality and user experience of its student collaboration and learning platform, MyNAFTrack.
“NAF is on an incredible mission to ensure high school students are college, career and future ready,” SAP SuccessFactors President Greg Tomb said. “NAF knows that its success as an organization is predicated on giving students the tools, resources and connections they need to succeed. We are proud to partner with NAF to create the ultimate student experience, which will positively impact their lives and, in the future, the businesses those students will one day join.”
NAF (formerly National Academy Foundation) is a nonprofit organization of educational, business and community leaders in North America dedicated to improving high schools in underserved communities. It seeks to ignite students’ passion for learning and give businesses the opportunity to shape America’s future workforce by transforming the learning environment to include STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)-infused industry-specific curricula and work-based learning experiences, including internships. NAF partners with high-need communities to improve student success by implementing NAF academies – small learning communities within existing high schools.
NAF was looking for a partner to help improve NAFTrack Certified Hiring, a key program involving a growing number of top national and global companies that give special consideration to job applicants who, as high school graduates, earned NAFTrack Certification. MyNAFTrack is an online portal connecting NAFTrack Certified high school graduates with career opportunities and resources with NAFTrack partners.
NAF selected the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and SAP SuccessFactors Learning solutions and SAP Jam Collaboration to help achieve its ambitious goal of increasing its impact on the students it serves tenfold. The SAP SuccessFactors solutions will enable NAF to further develop the usability and capabilities of MyNAFTrack, and think bigger and provide more to the students who need it most, creating opportunities for successful futures that will, in turn, positively impact the companies and communities where those students will be future employees and leaders.
“To close the skills gap and increase academic achievement, especially in underserved communities, it is critical for education and business to work together,” NAF President JD Hoye said. “Just last year, SAP North America joined our growing list of corporate partners supporting NAFTrack Certified Hiring. With the recent selection of SAP SuccessFactors solutions, we’ll be better equipped to support an even larger group of students. Together with SAP, we can truly transform the high school experience and with it, prime our future leaders to compete in a competitive, global marketplace.”
NAF joins more than 6,400 global organizations in 193 countries leveraging SAP SuccessFactors solutions to help drive digital HR strategies and turn purpose into performance. As companies look to transform HR to meet the demands of an increasingly digital workforce, they are embracing SAP SuccessFactors solutions to help tap into the full potential of every employee for better business results.
